Senior People Partner - Technology

Description:

The Senior People Partner – Technology, will act as a trusted advisor to LMAX Group's global Technology team. This role is critical in driving the people agenda within our Technology function, ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop top technical talent while supporting business goals. The ideal candidate will possess extensive HR business partnering experience specifically within the Technology sector, with the ability to manage relationships with senior leaders and handle complex, discerning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Technology leadership, including the CTO and senior engineering leaders, to understand business priorities and deliver effective people strategies.
  • Drive the development and execution of people plans that align with the overall business strategy, focusing on workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on organizational design, employee engagement, and managing change.
  • Work collaboratively with People team colleagues across Talent Acquisition, ESG, People Operations, Workplace and Facilities to deliver seamless and effective HR support to the Technology function.
  • Analyse people data and metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and provide insights to leadership.
  • Lead initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment within the Technology teams.
  • Act as a change agent, supporting the Technology function through organizational change and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and best practices across jurisdictions.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Building strong, trusted relationships with the Technology leadership team, becoming a go-to advisor on all people-related matters.
  • Delivering people solutions that directly contribute to the success of the Technology function and LMAX Group's overall business goals.
  • Improving key people metrics within the Technology function, such as engagement scores, retention rates, and internal mobility.
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a deep understanding of the unique needs of a technology-focused workforce.

Requirements:

Skills and Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a dedicated Technology HR Business Partnering role, supporting senior leadership within a technology-driven organization.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the Technology sector, particularly in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and influence senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit different audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with organizational design and change management.
