Business Development Executive - Digital Assets


About the Role:

This is a business development role, where we are looking to distribute LMAX Digital’s product suite globally. The role will assist in marketing our product to High Frequency trading desks, Quantitative Funds, Market Makers, Brokers, Family Offices, and the likes.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of LMAX Digital and the Digital Asset Ecosystem
  • Target potential customers and coordinate product demonstrations, negotiate proposals, terms of sales and service agreements
  • Initiate key partnerships with external stakeholders
  • Provide client onboarding support and act as the intermediary between the client and onboarding/compliance
  • Attend conferences and networking events to grow the LMAX Group brand and awareness, and report back finding to the management team
  • Provide regular updates to management on leads, onboarding pipelines and client performance
  • Work towards becoming an Institutional Sales Representative
  • Help present LMAX Digital’s offering across the crypto market place, connecting with High Frequency trading desks, Quantitative Funds, Market Makers, Family Offices and HNWI’s


Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to diligently prepare new client proposals
  • Ability to understand the Digital Asset Ecosystem and where LMAX Digital fits in
  • Ability to proactively resource leads from “cold” data bases such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Delegate lists and News Articles
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships globally
  • Tenaciousness

Desirable Skills / Experience:

  • 3+ experience in Sales or Sales support role
  • Onboarding experience
  • A thorough understanding of Digital Assets
  • Resilience
