Senior Manager, Marketing


Marketing Senior Manager a senior role and is critical for transforming the existing marketing team into a high performing, scalable growth engine to help support the next phase of the LMAX Group global expansion. The role is particularly suited for a seasoned B2B marketing practitioner with previous experience and background in financial services or capital markets infrastructure industry sectors. Ideal candidate will be both delivery and process oriented, as well as have strong track record in scaling up and transforming teams during periods of hyper growth.

The role requires strong project management and organisational skills and a significant track-record of hands-on experience in developing, implementing and measuring B2B strategic marketing initiatives and meticulous oversight of all brand collateral and creative (across offline, online and mobile channels). Reporting to the Chief growth Officer, the role will be responsible for driving the Group’s growth through branding and marketing activity globally - in close collaboration with the Group’s individual brand and P&L owners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the marketing team and responsibility for successful delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Ownership of marketing initiatives from project definition, brief development to delivery and assessment, including analysis of results
  • Development and management of online marketing campaigns and client communications
  • Oversight of website portfolio performance
  • Client analysis – identifying communications needs and collateral requirements; working pro-actively with the sales and executive teams to develop new materials
  • Oversight of budget, media buying

Introduction of project management and other automation tools to scale up marketing activity and ensure transparency of timeliness of workstream delivery

Essential Experience and attributes:

  • Min. 10 years’ experience of B2B Marketing focussed on brand building B2B
  • Significant experience in financial services or capital markets infrastructure industry sectors
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the crypto currency /digital assets market is a big plus
  • Proven track record in successfully building and scaling up marketing teams
  • Strong track record in campaign management across different media and delivering results which impact the bottom line
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Effective negotiation skills with media providers and other 3rd parties in order to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships
  • Highly driven, proactive team player with can do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage large and diverse teams whose members encompass a broad variety of responsibilities and skills
