Main Duties and Responsibilities of the role

  • Support stakeholders in the delivery of integration projects.
  • Automate business processes to improve efficiency and enhance the end-user experience.
  • Working with teams across the business, you will develop integration solutions, automate workflows, and ensure seamless deployment across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Continuous improvements, specifically around integration of ServiceNow, REST/SOAP API services, and messaging middleware such as Kafka
  • Document system architecture, operational runbooks, and technical processes.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of LMAX domain and related financial markets and use this knowledge to challenge, refine, and focus product direction
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements for epics and user stories.
  • Update and maintain configuration documentation.
  • Deploy solutions in development and test environments, collaborating with the QA and Security teams to ensure functionality, quality and compliance with Security standards.
  • Should be inclusive, a great teammate and owner of delivery. You will need to be a leader to delivery teams, operations and data analytics.

Requirements:

  • Stong experience with Service Now integration with other applications
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, Angular, CSS, and AJAX and programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience with API management, middleware technologies, and integration tools (both scripted and out-of-box REST API and SOAP web services).
  • Proficiency querying SQL databases and schemas.
  • Azure and AWS ecosystem experience would be beneficial.
  • Proven experience with messaging middleware technologies. Experience with Kafka would be beneficial.
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and passion for creating elegant and functional solutions
  • Good knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, etc...)
